Hi all! I haven't written in a while, so I thought I'd update on Kamryn and the other kiddos.
Kamryn had her 2 month check up on the 9th and she weighed all of 10 pounds and 6 ounces. She hasn't even doubled her birth weight (but almost). She had to get those dang immunizations, which of course is just heartbreaking. But it is definitely better than having a super sick baby or even worse! It was weird this time though (because I've seen a lot of immunizations) when the nurse took the needle out, blood just came pouring out of her leg. Both legs actually. That was different. But she's fine now. No adverse effects at all.
The other kids are really enjoying Kamryn very much. They love to play with her and get in her face and really annoy her. It's so fun to watch. Halle and Ethan are still in soccer and they are about burned out on it. Come to think of it, so are Chad and I. Halle wants to start karate when soccer is over, so maybe she can do that for awhile. She definitely doesn't want to play soccer in the spring, so we'll have a break from that. Ethan will probably play baseball again.
Jayci is such a fun little girl. Her new loves are Go, Diego, Go, Dora the Explorer, and Blue's Clues. It's becoming rather annoying, but hey, if she likes it, then so be it. Who am I to argue with a 3-year-old?
I am feeling good, although I'm very tired. I enjoy having all these wonderful kids, but I am feeling like life is so very hectic now. I feel like I'm missing out on stuff for the older kids (field trips, etc.) because of the younger kids. I missed Ethan's field trip today. Thankfully I have friends that went that will help take care of him and make sure that he eats all his lunch.
The Lord has truly blessed us in everything. We are so fortunate to have the things that we have and the family that we have been given is just awesome! I hope and pray that all of you reading this can be or are as happy as Chad and I are. Yes, there are hard times, but they pass so quickly and children grow up so fast that now I know that these moments, even the difficutl ones, are meant to be enjoyed.
