The Loser Blogger

Oh my, oh my! It's been almost an entire month since I've blogged!!!

The kids are all doing well. Halle is in middle school and is now taking a guitar class there. She gave us a little recital tonight, and she is actually very good! I was so amazed. She's turning into a little grown-up with an awesome sense of humor. I love hanging out with her and often have to remind myself that we're not supposed to be buddies, but she is one of my favorite buddies! She's in soccer again this fall and I'm so proud of the way she plays. It's like she finally just clicked and figured out how to play. It's so amazing watching her. It's one of my favorite things to do.

Ethan is doing very well in 3rd grade. He told Chad and me today that he got a 'C' on his progress report. I told him he would be grounded if he did ('C's are not acceptable right now) and he got all bummed out and so he brought me his progress report and had straight 'A's! He had a 'C' on one of his assignments and thought that would get him grounded, but, in fact, it's the grade for the class, not the grade for an assignment that counts (unless it's an 'F', lots of rules, I know). So anyway... Great job, Ethan, for getting awesome grades!!!

Jayci is still at home with me. We can't find an affordable pre-school for her to go to, so we've been trying to do a little here and there, but it's hard from home. She spends a lot of time reading and coloring and playing with Kamryn. She's a very bright little girl and she loves her family very very much.

Kamryn is walking all over the place and loves every minute of that. She's a very independent girl, but still wants me to hold her when she doesn't feel like walking! She's in a stage now where she doesn't want to eat, but she loves her bottles of milk that she gets before bed and naps. Maybe we need to ween soon. Dreading that!

Chad and I are both doing well. Chad is still loving his job, and I am still loving being at home with my babies. My new business is going very well, and I'm pleased that the product is one that I can be proud of. I'm so excited to see where this is going to lead, and maybe I can stay at home with the kids permanently! That would be sooo nice!

So that's the last month in a nutshell! I'm sure there will be more posts soon. We've been so busy, but I love updating my blog!
